Alec Sloutski, violin, an outstanding exponent of authentic klezmer music is also a fine musician in the swing tradition of Stephane Grappelli, playing sparkling swing, blues, and pull-your-heartstrings romantic ballads of the 30's and 40's.

About Duo DA
Alec is from Kiev, Ukraine, one of Europe's finest music scenes, famous for great classical and jazz players.
He plays violin, piano, trumpet and guitar, and composes in classical, jazz and eastern European styles and arranges equally well in all those styles. He is also an outstanding improviser in jazz and in the Klezmer style of which he is a world class exponent having toured extensively with Giora Feidman.
He has performed worldwide with Ulrich Tukur, the Ukranian State Philharmonic Orchestra, Justus Franz and Mikis Theodorakis among others.
He met Alec Sloutski over 20 years ago when they both participated in a Hamburg benefit concert.
They've been friends ever since, playing music and writing for Duo DA.
Duo DA also play in the Trio Fantastik with Christian Seibold, and with the Philharmonic Clowns.
